In Luke 1:1-3, this Gentile author declares that "Inasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a narrative of those things which have been fulfilled among us,...it seemed good to me also,...to write to you an orderly account, most excellent Theophilus,..."
Was not that 'good' desire of Luke, inspired by the Holy Spirit? One evidence surely, is the durability of this wonderful gospel record.
So it is, even though so many have written volumes about counselling, and there are many counselling websites, it seems 'good' to us also, to compile a website based on our personal studies and experiences, as counsellees and counsellors, for you, most excellent reader.
Teaching Mandate
We take the following scriptures as our mandate to teach the Word of God:
(Matthew 24:45-46)
"Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over His household, to give them their food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master, when He comes, will find so doing.
(Ephesians 4:11-16)
"And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children , tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him Who is the head - Christ - from Whom the whole body joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love".
